That's the professional way to describe how we hire and lead employees. More casually, we practice professional kindness and respect and also put on pretty great potlucks. Our benefits are good and you get federal and state holidays off in addition to accrued leave, and full-time employees enter the pension system based on years of service. True pensions are hard to come by.

KCHD is a great place to get your start right out of college. It's also a superb place for those retirees looking at second careers. Bring that incredible experience with you!

Check back here frequently to learn about our open positions and internships. Sometimes we have an opening you won't find immediately on the DOP's register, but it'll get there eventually. Please inquire with us personally about jobs.
